Little is known of Countess Kaszowski (Olga Broel-Plater Ilińska-Kaszowska 1877-1924). Her parlour played an important role in the Vilnius social life because of both her social position and the social function performed by her husband, Count Aleksander Maksymilian Iliński-Kaszowski (1869-1939), who was a commonly respected landowner. In 1915 he was chosen to be a member of the Polish Society for the Victims of War in Vilnius.
