A composition painted over 20 years later. The artist has given up the focus on detail for the sake of expression. A monochromatic, dynamic art piece captivates with its painterly grace. A brilliant composition where the energy of the jumping horse is visually counterbalanced by the weight of the cart and the people sitting in it. The narrow colour palette is compensated for with the tonal gradation of the applied colours.
