Right by the left edge, at the back of the main group there is a departing carriage. The distance suggested by the decreased volume increases the sense of depth and introduces a narrative into the picture. Placing the carriage in a perpendicular line to the face of the painting, contrasting with the size and the static character of the carriage from the foreground, balances its dynamics and domination.
Walking in the background on the right, there is a Jew with an umbrella - a figure from numerous other paintings by Stanisław Bohusz-Siestrzeńcewicz.
